Grace is a 2D plotting tool. Version 5.1.22 is available on the CSF and it was compiled using Intel Compilers 11.1.
There are no restrictions on access to the software. Please see the grace website for copyright and license information.
If you wish to access the GUI based version you will need to connect to the CSF using ssh -X to have the display exported to your local machine. Further information about how to start X-Windows and GUI applications on the CSF.
To access the software please load the module:
module load apps/intel-11.1/grace/5.1.22
To access the command line version use the command grace and run it on a compute node via qrsh using:
qrsh -l inter -l short -cwd -V grace
This will put you at the grace prompt:
grace:1>
Use exit to terminate your session which will bring you back to the login node.
The GUI version can be accessed through the command xmgrace and should be run via qrsh using:
qrsh -l inter -l short -cwd -V xmgrace
