Gephi is a visualization and exploration software for all kinds of graphs and networks.
Version 0.9.1 is installed on the CSF.
There are no restrictions on accessing Gephi on the CSF. The software is released under the GPLv3 license.
To access the software you must first load the modulefile:
module load apps/binapps/gephi/0.9.1
Please do not run Gephi on the login node. Jobs should be run interactively on a backend compute node using the qrsh command (see below). If found running on the login node the application will be killed without warning.
Note that you must have logged in with X11 forwarding enabled. Please read the instructions on logging in to run GUI programs if you are unsure about this.
Gephi will be able to allocate a maximum heap size of 4GB RAM.
After loading the modulefile run the following command to launch an interactive job on a backend compute node. Note that such jobs can run for a maximum of one hour:
qrsh -l inter -l short -V -cwd gephi
If no interactive resources are available you will be asked to try again later.
You can ignore any error messages about swrast.
