PyStan provides an interface to Stan, a package for Bayesian inference using the No-U-Turn sampler, a variant of Hamiltonian Monte Carlo.
Version 2.14.0.0 is installed on the CSF.
This software is open source so all CSF users may access it.
To access the software you must first load the modulefile:
module load apps/gcc/python-packages/anaconda-2.5.0/stan/2.14.0.0
Note: this will automatically load anaconda python 2.5.0 for you (and the appropriate gcc compiler).
Please do not run PyStan on the login node. Jobs should be submitted to the compute nodes via batch.
Please write a job submission script and use qsub to submit it to the system.
