Overview

Model-based Analysis for ChIP-Seq (MACS)

Version 1.4.2 is installed on the CSF.

Restrictions on use

MACS is open source software under the Artistic License and available to all users of the system. Please ensure you cite your usage in any results and publications as per the MACS website.

Set up procedure

To access the software you must first load the modulefile:

module load apps/binapps/macs/1.4.2

Running the application

Please do not run MACS on the login node. Jobs should be submitted to the compute nodes via batch.
