Evaluation and Pump Priming

Many of the facilities in the University Research Infrastructure Ecosystem are contribution-based, i.e., access is restricted to those research groups or schools which have contributed funds to the facility, in particular the CSF. Most services also have a limited free-at-point-of-use access option, including the CSF, Research Data Storage and Research Virtual Machines.

• you need to carry out some moderately-sized work in preparation for writing grant applications for funds which would be used to make a contribution to one of the facilities
