Operating Systems

Details of available operating systems are given below.

Linux

We offer a standard Ubuntu 20.04 LTS image. For any other distributions please first contact its-ri-team@manchester.ac.uk

MS Windows

We hope to be able to offer a standard MS Windows image. However there will be a charge for the Windows license as the campus license does not cover usage on the RVMI platform.

Apple OS-X

OS-X will not be available on the service because of licence restrictions.
