Can I reboot or power-cycle my VM?

The VM operating system can be rebooted by the VM administrator, but not by unprivileged users of the VM.

The VM can be (virtually) power-cycled only by those with access to the VMware console. Any VM Administrator who is not a member of IT Services will not have access to the VMware console. (Only IT Services system administrators have full access to the VMware console; some other IT Services staff have limited rights.)
