VM Snapshots

WMware has the ability to take snapshots of virtual machines so that one may, for example, return a VM to its exact state two weeks ago. However, WMware snapshots are not generally available as part of the pilot service.

Limited snapshots may available in the future:

• The ability to make VM snapshots will not be available to users of the service.
• Requests for snapshots should be made to the Research Infrastructure Team.
