NetBeans
Overview
NetBeans is an open source interactive development environment (IDE) used to assist in the development of desktop, mobile and web applications
with Java, HTML5, PHP, C/C++ and more. It runs under Java (OpenJDK 1.7.0 is installed on the iCSF).
Version 7.4 (201310111528, platform-independent .zip) is installed on the iCSF.
Restrictions on use
The software is free to use, via the Gnu LGPL v2.1 license. All users should check the Oracle NetBeans license documentation for further details.
Set up procedure
To access the software you must first load the modulefile:
module load apps/binapps/netbeans/7.4
Running the application
NetBeans is started by simply running the following command:
netbeans
