MRIcroGL

Overview

MRIcroGL is a program designed to display 3D medical imaging using a GPU for fast volume rendering.

Version 12.12.12 is installed on the iCSF.

Restrictions on use

There are no restrictions on accessing this software. It is licensed under the BSD license which should be read in section 1 of the MRIcroGL User Guide.

Set up procedure

You must use the nyx3 virtual desktop from which to access the iCSF GPU node. Please see the instructions on vglconnect for how to log in to the iCSF GPU node (jabberwock).

Once you’ve logged in to jabberwock you should then load the MRIcroGL modulefile using the module command:

module load apps/binapps/mricrogl/12.12.12

Running the application

Having loaded the appropriate modulefile simply run:

vglrun mricrogl

The above will start the MRIcroGL GUI.
