bcftools
Overview
BCFtools is a set of utilities that manipulate variant calls in the Variant Call Format (VCF) and its binary counterpart BCF.
Version 1.3.1 is installed on the iCSF and it was compiled with GNU compilers 4.9.0.
Restrictions on use
This software is open source and may be used by all CSF users.
Set up procedure
To access the software you must first load the modulefile:
module load apps/gcc/bcftools/1.3.1
Running the application
Please do not run BCFtools on the login node. Jobs should be submitted to the compute nodes via batch.
