VM Snapshots

We have the ability to snapshot (and restore) Linux research virtual machines. This is not done automatically however.

If you know an action you are going to attempt might break your machine (like a major version upgrade of your application or system), please get in touch: it is much easier (and faster) to create a snapshot of your current system than asking for a backup to be restored.
