General Software Information
Many widely used pieces of software are installed in central locations for your convenience and to avoid duplication on the system.
Software on the CSF is accessed through use of user environment modules which set up your environment to run an application. Applications should then be run via the batch system (SLURM). Each application’s page listed in the appropriate menu on the left shows the commands needed for the specific application.
GUI/interactive software – use srun to run interactively on a compute node, not directly on the login node.
