RCS Condor Pools

Man2-Based Pool

Comprises
  • Man2 HPC cluster (Beowulf) — two head nodes and 25 compute nodes;
  • small number of RCS desktop machines.
Topology
  • Man2's compute nodes are on a private network;
  • IP tunnel between one RCS desktop — used as a router by other desktops — and "spare" Man2 head node.
  • Man2 head/login node and all desktops work as Condor submit nodes.
Using
  • Email campus-grid-admin@manchester.ac.uk;
  • Representative documentation — changing as we speak as Man2 is being re-installed.
