Home Directories
All home directories are from the Isilon central storage. This means:
- Your home directory is the same on all zrek nodes (the zrek login node and all backend nodes).
- If you have an account on the CSF, iCSF and/or Hydra then you share the same home directory on all systems.
Scratch
A moderately-size /scratch area (4 TB) is available across the cluster. This is not resilient storage; it is not backed up. This area is not a suitable location for long-term storage of files, of indeed for any files which cannot easily be regenerated, or downloaded, etc.
These (/mnt/xy01-home01, etc.) can be made available if required.
Local /tmp
Each compute node has a local /tmp, usually of several hundred GB.
