Please provide the following information:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The name of the system you wish to access &#8211; in this case &#8220;CSF3&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>A brief description of why you want to use CSF3<\/li>\n<li>Your University IT Username (<em>not<\/em> password)<\/li>\n<li>The email address of your PI\/supervisor\/line manager (if your work spans multiple departments with more than one supervisor, please include them all.)\n<li>The unix group\/code for your contribution group (if known &#8211; if your PI is a contributor they will know it)<\/li>\n<p>        We <em>do not<\/em> usually need to contact your supervisor, but it helps us to identify which area of storage and resources on the CSF your account will have access to.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Visitors\/Collaborators, account extensions, your account at the end of a course\/contract.<\/h2>\n<p>Please see the information on the <a href=\"https:\/\/ri.itservices.manchester.ac.uk\/csf3\/getting-started\/user-accounts\/\">CSF3 accounts page<\/a>as this is all applicable for iCSF too.<\/p>\n<h2>Extensions to iCSF Accounts<\/h2>\n<p>Please see the info we give for <a href=\"https:\/\/ri.itservices.manchester.ac.uk\/csf3\/getting-started\/user-accounts\/#accountext\">CSF Account Extensions<\/a> &#8211; the same applies to iCSF accounts.<\/p>\n<h2>What happens to my iCSF account and files at the end of my course \/ research?<\/h2>\n<p>Please see the info we give for <a href=\"https:\/\/ri.itservices.manchester.ac.uk\/csf3\/getting-started\/user-accounts\/#accountend\">What happens to my CSF account<\/a> &#8211; the same applies to iCSF accounts.<\/p>\n<h2>IT Policies and Regulations<\/h2>\n<p>All users must have completed <a href=\"https:\/\/iam.manchester.ac.uk\/initial_login\/overview\">IT Sign Up<\/a> to be granted an account on the iCSF and follow <a href=\"http:\/\/www.itservices.manchester.ac.uk\/policy\/\">IT policies and regulations<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Requesting an Account Check with your Supervisor or Project Investigator (PI) that they are a contributor and then fill in the HPC Help form requesting an account on the iCSF (aka Incline).
