User tests suggests that this version works better then the 64 bit version.<\/li>\n<li>2.64 &#8211; 64 bit (compiled with the default gcc compiler).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Restrictions on use<\/h2>\n<p>None.<\/p>\n<h2>Set up procedure<\/h2>\n<p>For the 32 bit binary version:<\/p>\n<pre class=\"in1\">module load apps\/binapps\/lens\/2.64<\/pre>\n<p>To access the 64 bit compiled lens please load the modulefile:<\/p>\n<pre class=\"in1\">module load apps\/gcc\/lens\/2.64 <\/pre>\n<h2>Running the application<\/h2>\n<h3>Serial<\/h3>\n<p>Lens is a single core\/serial application. <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Make sure you have the modulefile loaded.<\/li>\n<li>Write a batch submission script, for example:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<pre class=\"in1\">  \r\n#$ -S \/bin\/bash\r\n#$ -N rogers_lens\r\n#$ -cwd\r\n#$ -o r_out.log\r\n#$ -j y\r\n#$ -V\r\nlens -b multimodal.tcl\r\n<\/pre>\n<ul>\n<li>Submit: <code>qsub batchscript<\/code> (replacing &#8216;batchscript&#8217; with the name of your file).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>GUI version<\/h3>\n<p>If you need to run the GUI version you must use <a href=\"\/csf2\/getting-started-on-the-csf\/using-an-app-with-a-gui-x11-and-qrsh\/\">qrsh<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>Further info<\/h2>\n<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.stanford.edu\/group\/mbc\/LENSManual\/index.html\">lens website<\/a> contains a large amount of useful information including a user guide.<\/p>\n<h2>Updates<\/h2>\n<p>None<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Overview Lens is a neural network simulator.
