Responsibilities of Business Owner

Legal Responsibilities

The business owner is legally responsible for the contents of their shared area. They must ensure that the contents are not in breach of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in terms of storage of personal data.

Research Data Management

The business owner is also responsible for ensuring that, if appropriate, there is a Research Data Management Plan for their data and that it is implemented.

Requests for Changes to Access

Any and all requests for providing or revoking user access to the shared area will be accepted by IT Services only from the named business owner(s).
